Adilson

The opera "Adilson" interweaves several voices and identities in order to explore Portuguese history and multiculturalism, reflecting on themes such as migration, social (in)justice, discrimination and hope. Set against the backdrop of the waiting room - at the SEF, the airport or another administrative entity - the project, with a libretto by playwright Rui Catalão, interweaves fiction and reality, looking at the experiences of migrants in Portugal. "Adilson" celebrates the complexity of the diaspora and the search for change.
